Information System, or IS in short, is a program which can keep order ...
... order in company administration or in internal (and B2B) processes.
You might know it as Backoffice, supplier portal, B2B portal, house management, booking system etc.
It can be used by international corporations who communicate with many suppliers,
but also by a small company, (non-profit) institutions or house lords for keeping lists of orders, employees, complaints etc.

Whatever you wish ...
IS can administer lists, relations or costs ... of products, employees or other entities.
It can create statistics, PDF or XLS files, print documents or send emails.
Can be connected to assembly lines or other machines can process their data.
It's no problem to create any label or barcode.
IS can distinguish who is working with it at the moment and provide appropriate authorization.
... and anything else. For example connection to an ERP system.

In 2020 I implemented Complaints and 8D Reports for automotive industry.
Then for example ordering of transportation at DPD and generating and printing their labels via SOAP.
For automotive I also implemented German VDA standards and a supplier portal connected to SAP.
My last implementation took care of stock taking in vast warehouses - we also used the offline application running on tablets.
